RELEASE NOTES FOR BAZEPORT IPTV 8.2
Version 8.2 includes brand-new features like the Cherry-page, enhancements and new functionalty in Flow and much more. Have a look!
BAZEPORT CHERRY-PAGE
We are now introducing BazePort Cherry-page. The Cherry-page presents content on the TV's Start page that is cherry-picked for the viewer. The most relevant content will be available directly from the TV's start page.
TAG YOUR INFO PORTAL PAGES TO CHERRY-PAGE
BazePort Info Portal is where you can publish text accompanied with pictures and video to pages browsable from a menu.
With introduction of BazePort Cherry-page, we have defined a new set of tags, allowing pages to be tagged to Cherry-page.
NEW IN BAZEPORT FLOW
We now launch a new feature in Flow, the action type Web request.
BazePort Flow was introduced in BazePort 8 and we added a couple of new features in 8.1. Have you tested it out yet?
NEW IN BAZEPORT HARDWARE
We are introducing generation 7 of BazePort servers, as well as giving BazePort Seea customers the option to connect set-top box model CT-2191 using Wi-Fi.
NEW IN BAZEPORT ANDROID NATIVE APP
BazePort Android native app, the built-in BazePort application used on Philips MediaSuite TV models, is now approved for Netflix and supports Android Pie OS.

WHO CAN UPGRADE?
Anyone who holds a valid BazePort Service Agreement (BSA) or BazePort Support and/or Software Upgrade Agreement (SLA), is entitled to this upgrade, as this is part of our product design and development commitment.
If you have not entered into an agreement, but are interested in upgrading your current BazePort installation, please contact us via email support@bazeport.com for more information.
We recommend that you always run the latest software release for best performance and experience.
HOW TO UPGRADE?
The BazePort 8.2 release is implemented for our clients over the air. No downtime, planning nor on-site installs are needed.
BazePort 8.2 is available for download via the Live Update section in BazePort Management Studio (for Microsoft Windows OS only). When the upgrade is applied on the server, the upgrade will deploy itself, either silently when BazePort units go idle, or by user when asked to accept upgrade.
