With BazePort 8.3 version you can draft Info channels and Information portal content before actually launching it to any endpoints. The draft version can even include availability rules as you plan to use them when published.

 

What is a draft version of content?


With the possibility to draft content, we make it even easier for you to prepare and plan your content publishing.

Your Info channels and Info Portal folder and pages can be ready and complete, even with availability rules for time and group of screens, yet not launched. Whenever you are ready to launch the content, you just un-tic the Draft version checkbox.

When to use the draft version functionality?


You probably have marketing or communication plans involving many media platforms. Include BazePort in your plans, and start to prepare and schedule your content in advance, align the publishing with your other media updates.

In combination, the preview functionality and the draft version function are both great tools for preparing and planning your signage content. For example, you can organize all availability rules and see how it will present to different audience groups, at different times, without making a particular version for a test screen.
