Many of our customers have, up until now, received TV guide content, EPG, as a free and complimentary service. We regret to inform you that our free EPG service is no longer possible to uphold as a stable service.

This is due to the increased complexity and scope of EPG sources. Our free EPG service will therefore be discontinued later in 2021.

How can you then receive EPG?

We are happy to announce that we have entered into a partnership with a professional EPG service provider, and developed a new and improved EPG service for BazePort IPTV users. The new service will be introduced 1. September 2021 and will be available for all BazePort Service Agreement, BSA, customers at 20 EUR per month per installation. The service will require and be part of the BSA. Please contact your BazePort account responsible person for how to subscribe.

 

Can you administer your own EPG content instead of purchasing the BazePort EPG service?

Yes, it will be possible for trained BazePort administrators to administer their own, free EPG service. However, BazePort support services will not cover incidents or questions regarding such setups. We recommend the new BazePort EPG service.
