RELEASE NOTES FOR BAZEPORT IPTV 8.4
Bazeport 8.4 introduces the new module Keynotes with possibility to record your live streams, dashboard drilldown functionality in the Flow module and more.
New module: Keynotes
The new BazePort Keynotes module is finally ready for release! Do you live stream your lectures and happenings?
Why not record your streams and publish them as keynotes to your BazePort audience. You can even live stream to your BazePort units from the Keynotes module.
New in FLOW Dashboards: Drilldown
Imagine how easy it could be to navigate in an overview of your building, ship or location – drill down to exactly the TV set you want to reach.
With BazePort 8.4 we give you the possibility to create dashboard drilldowns. You can open a subordinate dashboard from a dashboard button.
New in bandwidth throttling: Auto throttle
When your internet connection is limited, the possibility to manage the use of bandwidth for downloads to BazePort is useful. We now introduce a new parameter to control the bandwidth use, we call it auto throttle.
Auto throttle enable you to specify the bandwidth not to be used by BazePort.
New in FLOW: Confirmation Message
Would you like to playback forced information when a BazePort viewer use the system for the first time? And then require a confirmation that the information has been watched and understood?
WHO CAN UPGRADE?
Anyone who holds a valid BazePort Service Agreement (BSA) or BazePort Support and/or Software Upgrade Agreement (SLA), is entitled to this upgrade, as this is part of our product design and development commitment.
If you have not entered into an agreement, but are interested in upgrading your current BazePort installation, please contact us via email support@bazeport.com for more information.
Please note that BazePort Keynotes is a BazePort Service Agreement-dependent module. It requires an active service agreement to be used.
We recommend that you always run the latest software release for best performance and experience.
HOW TO UPGRADE?
The BazePort 8.4 release is implemented for our clients over the air. No downtime, planning nor on-site installs are needed.
BazePort 8.4 is available for download via the Live Update section in BazePort Management Studio (for Microsoft Windows OS only). When the upgrade is applied on the server, the upgrade will deploy itself, either silently when BazePort units go idle, or by user when asked to accept upgrade.
