Using streaming apps is not new to Bazeport, but being able to use them on a Bazeport set-top box is. Bazeport has many different setups: On-demand, live TV, Information Digital Signage and streaming service through the use of native applications (apps).

It's important to note that when using streaming apps on Bazeport, it's no different than using them on any other device (e.g. Apple TV unit) or system. These apps always require internet access when in use. They operate independently from the system, and there is no option to manage how they utilize available bandwidth. As a result, some apps may consume a substantial amount of bandwidth.

The apps that run on the Bazeport set-top box can be found in the Google AOSP library. Although this library contains a vast and ever-growing collection of available apps, there are a few apps that are exclusively available on certified Android, such as Netflix. However, if you want to have Netflix on your Bazeport setup, it is available in an alternative configuration. You can contact Bazeport support to learn more about how to do this.
